This section provides more detailed information on specific content decisions for all topics to be included in the 2011 Census, and background information on key uses of the data. Seven topics (see list below) will be addressed first, as these were the only ones for which changes were proposed by Statistics NZ during public consultation. Comments for all other topics follow.
