Iwi profiles are statistical reports about individual, and groups of, iwi based on the Maori descent population. They use information from the Census of Population and Dwellings, and look at the social and economic positions of iwi.

The topics covered include population, language, education, religion, households and families, labour force, unpaid activities, income, housing, motor vehicles and telecommunications, number of children born and smoking behaviour.
