Survey of Family, Income, and Employment (SoFIE)

The Survey of Family, Income, and Employment (SoFIE) collected information on individual, family and, household income, as well as the factors that influence changes to income, such as involvement in the labour force, and family composition.

SoFIE was a ‘longitudinal’ survey that ran for eight years, meaning respondents were revisited yearly to build a picture of how their circumstances changed during this time.
