What it's about
Demographic Trends 2005 includes information on population change and structure, fertility, marriage, divorce, mortality, external migration, subnational populations, induced abortions, and national and subnational demographic projections of the New Zealand population. A special article entitled "An Introduction to the Population and Sustainable Development Website" gives a brief description of the website and discusses two current demographic issues: population ageing and the baby boom.
