Labour Market Statistics: 2006

Labour Market Statistics is Statistics New Zealand’s main reference publication on labour market-related statistics. Published annually, it brings together a comprehensive range of up-to-date statistics about New Zealand’s labour market and employment situation.

It includes statistics on people employed, unemployed and not in the labour force; education and training; labour income; hours of work and industrial relations. Many of the statistics are presented by ethnic group and by other socio-demographic characteristics. International comparisons of a selection of labour market statistics are also provided.

Labour Market Statistics 2006 will be of interest to all New Zealanders, as social, economic and business decisions based on information about the labour market affect us all.
