Latest seasonally adjusted movements in the Retail Trade Survey compared with ECT data, as first published:
- retail trade sales decreased 0.5 percent in July 2009
- retail ECT series increased 0.8 percent in July 2009
- core retail trade sales decreased 0.5 percent in July 2009
- core retail ECT series increased 1.1 percent in July 2009.
Latest movement in the Food Price Index:
- the Food Price Index fell 0.9 percent in August 2009.
Latest movement in the Consumers Price Index:
- the Consumers Price Index rose 0.6 percent in the June 2009 quarter.
Latest movement in credit card billings, as issued by the Reserve Bank of New Zealand:
- credit card billings increased 1.5 percent in August 2009 compared with August 2008.
