The New Zealand Association of Economists (NZAE) 2005 annual conference was held from 29 June to 1 July 2005. Statistics New Zealand presented eight papers on a range of issues including:

  • international investment and foreign affilliates
  • the Consumer price index
  • central and local government finance
  • the ANZSIC industry classification upgrade, and
  • work, knowledge and skills in urban and rural New Zealand.
