Labour Cost Index (All Labour Costs): June 2011 quarter

From the June 2010 quarter to the June 2011 quarter:

• Surveyed labour costs increased 2.4 percent.
• Non-wage labour costs increased 4.9 percent.
• Annual leave and statutory holiday costs increased 2.1 percent.
• Superannuation costs increased 11.3 percent.
• Workplace accident insurance costs increased 27.5 percent.
• Other non-wage labour costs (vehicles, medical insurance, and low-interest loans) increased 0.9 percent.
