Highlights

This release focuses on labour market dynamics for New Zealand.

  • The number of seasonally adjusted filled jobs decreased 1.5 percent, to 1,811,937, from the March 2008 year.
  • Seasonally adjusted average quarterly earnings decreased 2.8 percent from the December 2008 quarter.
  • The annual average worker turnover rate was 16.1 percent.
