Retail Trade Survey: September 2011 quarter

For the September 2011 quarter, compared with the June 2011 quarter (seasonally adjusted):

  • Total sales volumes increased 2.2 percent.
  • Total sales values increased 2.1 percent ($358 million).
  • Supermarket and grocery store sales led increases in both volumes and values.
  • Sales volumes increased in 13 of the 15 retail industries.
