Overseas Cargo Statistics: Year ended June 2005

• The weight of export cargo loaded at New Zealand ports was 21,899 thousand tonnes, down 3.1 percent from the June 2004 year.
• The value of export cargo loaded at New Zealand ports was $31,292 million, up 2.3 percent from the June 2004 year.

• The weight of import cargo unloaded at New Zealand ports was 19,164 thousand tonnes, up 8.2 percent from the June 2004 year.
• The value of import cargo unloaded at New Zealand ports was $35,370 million, up 8.4 percent from the June 2004 year.
