For November 2009 compared with October 2009 (on a seasonally adjusted basis):
- Total retail sales rose 0.8 percent ($46 million).
- Core retail sales rose 0.8 percent ($34 million).
- Automotive fuel retailing (up 3.8 percent or $20 million) and 'other retailing' (up 7.3 percent or $17 million) had the largest increases.
- The biggest decrease was in motor vehicle retailing (down 3.2 percent or $17 million).
The total retail sales trend has risen 2.5 percent since February 2009.
