Short-term English language student enrolments up
Highlights
For the year ended March 2010:
The number of international students enrolled at English language schools in New Zealand increased 13.0 percent from the previous March year.
South Korean and Chinese students were the largest contributors to the overall increase in student numbers.
Tuition and related fees received by English language schools from international students was $140 million, down $2.2 million from the previous March year.
The total number of student weeks completed at English language schools was up 1.7 percent.
