National ethnic population projections - information releases
These releases provide a summary of the projected Māori, Pacific, Asian, and European ethnic populations of New Zealand, based on different combinations of fertility, mortality, migration, and inter-ethnic mobility assumptions.
International travel and migration – information releases
These releases provide statistics on the number of overseas visitors, New Zealand resident travellers, and permanent and long-term migrants entering or leaving New Zealand.
New Zealand General Social Survey
The New Zealand General Social Survey (NZGSS) provides information on the well-being of New Zealanders aged 15 years and over. It covers a wide range of social and economic outcomes, and shows how these outcomes are distributed across different groups within the New Zealand population, including ethnic groups.

Population estimates at 30 June 1996, 2001, and 2006
NZ.Stat tables include the estimated national ethnic population by age and sex at 30 June, and the estimated subnational population for regional council and territorial authority areas by age and sex at 30 June.
National ethnic population projections
These national projections provide the projected Māori, Pacific, Asian, and European ethnic populations of New Zealand by age and sex, based on different combinations of fertility, mortality, migration, and inter-ethnic mobility assumptions.

These subnational projections provide the projected Māori, Pacific, Asian, and European ethnic populations of regional council and territorial authority areas by age and sex, based on different combinations of fertility, mortality, migration, and inter-ethnic mobility assumptions.
Asian ethnic groups profiles, 2006 – tables
This set of 48 tables provides Asian ethnic group profiles based on results from the 2006 Census, with information on demographics, religion, language, education, labour force participation, occupation, study, tenure of housing, household composition, and cigarette smoking.
