Tuition and related fees received by English language schools from international students was $116 million during the March 2007 year, up $5 million from the previous March year.
The number of international students enrolled at English language schools in New Zealand fell for the fourth consecutive year, mainly due to a fall in the number of Chinese students.
The total number of student weeks completed at New Zealand English language schools was up 2.2 percent in the March 2007 year, compared with the March 2006 year.
