Statistics New Zealand has completed a review of vitals outputs (births, deaths, marriages, civil unions, and divorces). As a result of this review some information previously included in the above downloadable tables is now available from Infoshare under the subject category Population. Following a review of regional fertility rates, Statistics NZ considers that quality data can only be produced for census years. Regional fertility rates will therefore no longer be published for other years.
Cohort fertility
Completed fertility rate for cohorts of women born 1894–1975.
