Introduction
This article examines international travel from New Zealand regions. As well as looking at the number of departures from each region, the rate of travel (adjusted for population size) is analysed, as are key characteristics such as overseas destinations, the age of travellers, and seasonality. All data is for the year ended December 2009 unless stated.
