Corrections have been made to the Household Labour Force Survey: March 2009 quarter, originally released on 7 May 2009.
March 2009 was the first quarter in which we attempted to apply Māori benchmarks via the usual production system. However, an error in grouping ages meant the benchmark was applied incorrectly.
Although there is a minor impact on all published estimates for the March 2009 quarter, as well as the last several observations in seasonally adjusted and trend data, revisions to the March 2009 quarter data are not substantive at a national level.
