Household Use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Survey

The Household Use of ICT survey measures the access and use of computers, the Internet and mobile phones in New Zealand households.  The survey produces official statistics and is used to gain a better understanding of how technology is influencing the New Zealand economy and society.

The collection of this data, along with the Business use of ICT and Government use of ICT surveys creates a comprehensive set of internationally comparable statistics.

The Household Use of ICT survey is a supplement to the Household Labour Force Survey (HLFS) and is conducted every 3 years.
