Immigration
The Immigration dataset will record information about the settlement experiences of new migrants to New Zealand.
Details will include reasons for coming to New Zealand, experiences finding suitable housing and work, services used to help settlement, experiences of the education system, and levels of satisfaction about settlement.
The data will be collected from the three-year Longitudinal Immigration Survey. the survey starts in 2004 and first data is expected to be released progressively from 2007.
