Childcare

The one-off 1998 Childcare Survey provides benchmark information on early childhood education and childcare.

It gathered information about the relationship between childcare use and labour force participation, and the impact of childcare responsibilities on particiation in employment, unpaid work and training.

Run as a supplement to the Household Labour Force survey, information was collected about parents of children aged 0-13, and their children aged 0-13.
