Screen

The screen industry is made up of five sub-sectors of production, post-production, film and video distribution, film exhibition and television broadcasting . The size of the contribution made by contracting businesses is also measured.  

 

Screen activities within the industry have been defined as activities for film, video, television, commercials, music videos, and non-broadcast media.

 

The screen industry has been associated with innovative activities, and innovation has been cited as a key factor in sustaining economic growth. This industry is seen as important, due to its high growth potential, and its ability to contribute across the economy.
