2007 Agricultural Production Census
The final statistics are now available for decision makers
Statistics New Zealand has undertaken the 2007 Agricultural Production Census, a five-yearly snapshot of New Zealand's primary production. All farmers and foresters were surveyed about their farming and forestry business.
The 2007 Agricultural Production Census statistics present a snapshot of New Zealand primary production. Additional tables are available; these follow the first final release of statistics from 2007 Agricultural Production Census in May 2008.
Census statistics are used to assist people in primary production, and agricultural and rural-sector organisations make important decisions, which often have wide-ranging consequences and help shape the communities we live in.
