Statistics New Zealand reports on a range of national health indicators, including the incidence of injury, the extent of disability, abortion rates and life expectancy. Information is also released on New Zealanders' engagement in health-related behaviours, such as smoking and alcohol consumption, and on the financial performance of the public health sector.
