Statistics New Zealand has changed the format of Hot Off The Press information releases.
The media release can be accessed through the Statistics New Zealand home page. Published Hot Off The Press information releases now include links across the top of the page for navigating between the Highlights, Commentary, Technical notes and Tables in the release. The opening page presents Highlights, outlining the key figures. The downloadable Excel tables now follow the Technical notes.
Printable pdf versions are linked to the bottom of each page of the entire release. Previous releases can be accessed either by using the link below the printable-pdf version, or through the link on this page.
Information releases will continue to be available free on our website from 11am on the day of release. The release calendar shows which information will be released when.

The tourism satellite account is linked to, and consistent with, the existing New Zealand System of National Accounts. The framework used follows international guidelines established by the United Nations World Tourism Organization and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). A satellite account involves the rearrangement of existing information found in the national accounts so that an area of particular economic or social importance can be analysed more closely.
