Where we live activity

There were 18,000 school children who took part in the in CensusAtSchool NZ survey. The first results were released in October 2003.

The data tells us that of the 18,000 students who took part:
  • 25% speak two languages
  • 79.6% were born in New Zealand
  • 2.7% were born in Australia.

How do these statistics from the CensusAtSchool NZ compare with the 2001 Census of Population and Dwelling?
