Background

There is a vast amount of information on Statistics New Zealand's website. This activity gets students exploring different parts of the website to find some answers to a list of questions.

The activity builds on the information students have looked at in the August issue of StatZing! which would have arrived in schools in the first week in August.


Students should print off the activity page and then try finding the answers. They are all on the website. We have given them some hints as to where to look. You can find the links to all the pages in the useful links section below.
