These results could make a difference. If PE and Health become less popular then less people may end up playing sport. If less play there will be less to pick from so the standard in the future may not be as high.
Top sports
If we drew a line to represent the different sports it would:
Start high and then dip low for athletics
Be shaped more like a bell for soccer, basketball and hockey
Gradually decrease at every age group for gymnastics
The most popular sport is soccer
