Guide for the collection of Community Information – This is an easy to follow guide providing an outline of what is involved in running a survey and sound practical advice on survey methods, including examples from Statistics New Zealand's experience of running surveys.
Guide for Good Survey Design (PDF, 2.4 Mb) – The guide deals briefly with undertaking, designing, managing and processing a survey. Also included is a reading list for fuller treatments of specific issues and suggestions about where to obtain expert opinion and advice.
