Highlights


In the year to the March 2006 quarter:

  • Salary and wage rates (including overtime) rose 3.3 percent.
  • Sixty-one percent of salary and ordinary time wage rates recorded an increase.
  • Twenty-five percent of salary and ordinary time wage rates rose between 3 and 5 percent.
  • Twenty-one percent of salary and ordinary time wage rates rose more than 5 percent.
