Highlights
For January 2007 compared with December 2006 (on a seasonally adjusted basis):
- Total retail trade sales increased 0.5 percent (up $28 million).
- Excluding vehicle-related industries, sales rose 1.0 percent (up $38 million).
- Automotive fuel sales were down 4.2 percent (down $20 million).
- Department store sales increased 5.8 percent (up $17 million).
