
Highlights
- The Food Price Index recorded no overall change in March 2007 compared with February 2007.
- Fruit and vegetable prices decreased 2.3 percent driven by lower prices for apples.
- Non-alcoholic beverage prices fell 0.8 percent.
- Restaurant meals and ready-to-eat food prices rose 0.1 percent.
- Grocery food prices rose 0.4 percent.
- Meat, poultry and fish prices increased 1.1 percent.
- Food prices rose 3.3 percent for the year to March 2007
