Highlights


For April 2007 compared with March 2007 (on a seasonally adjusted basis):

  • Total retail sales fell 1.2 percent.
  • Excluding vehicle-related industries, core retail sales fell 0.9 percent.
  • Motor vehicle retailing fell 4.1 percent.
  • Eighteen of the 24 retail industries had dollar movements smaller than $3 million.
