Highlights


For the June 2007 quarter compared with the March 2007 quarter (on a seasonally adjusted basis):

  • Total retail sales increased 0.4 percent.
  • Sales volumes fell 0.6 percent.
  • Fourteen of the 24 industries recorded sales increases.
  • Supermarket and grocery store sales increased 3.0 percent.
  • Appliance retailing volumes fell 5.5 percent.
