
Highlights
For February 2008 compared with January 2008 (on a seasonally adjusted basis):
- Total retail sales fell 0.7 percent ($42 million).
- Core retail sales rose 0.2 percent ($7 million).
- Fourteen of the 24 retail industries had decreased sales.
- Motor vehicle retailing fell 5.8 percent ($41 million).
- Supermarket and grocery stores rose 1.6 percent ($19 million).
