The purpose of the Central Government Enterprise Survey is to collect data on the financial transactions of Crown entities with all other sectors of the New Zealand economy.
The financial data collected by this survey are needed to compile quarterly and annual statistics on the performance of the New Zealand economy. The information is also in the calculation of Gross Domestic Product, which measures the market value of goods less the cost of production. The survey is also used to compile the Crown Research Institute Statistics.
Crown Research Institutes, Maritime Safety Authority, Civil Aviation Authority and Aviation Security Service are selected.
