These tables include additional information to that released as part of the Hot Off The Press Balance of Payments and International Investment Position: Year ended 31 March 2008.
The 'Country by flow' tables include data on investment flows between New Zealand and all other countries, both incoming and outgoing. The 'Country by stock' tables record the stock of New Zealand's investment abroad, as well as the stocks of investment in New Zealand held by all other countries, as at 31 March.
Both sets of tables provide data split by type of investment, that is: direct investment, portfolio investment, other investment, and total investment, and are more detailed versions of tables 3–10 in Balance of Payments and International Investment Position: Year ended 31 March 2008.
