The new series are:
- Estimated migrant arrivals and departures, 12/16-month rule – ITMM.SEM1*
- Estimated migrants by age group and sex, 12/16-month rule – ITMA.SEM2*
- Estimated migrants by country/ region of citizenship, 12/16-month rule – ITMM.SEM3*

Country classification changes

We added Latvia to the OECD country group for overseas merchandise trade harmonised tables. Latvia became part of OECD on 1 July 2016.

Other changes to country groupings:

  • Christmas Island and Cocos (Keeling) Islands are now included in OECD and APEC, as they are territories of Australia, which is a member of those groups
  • Destination Unknown – EU included in OECD, as the likely destinations for exported goods to Destination Unknown – EU are OECD members.

The harmonised trade table groups now match the groups by present day membership EXP and IMP series.
