Table Builder tables
The New Zealand General Social Survey (NZGSS) tables were removed from this webpage on 4 June 2010. Incorrect weights were attached to particular variables in the tables which meant the number of children in families was represented as the number of children in households. This made the data misleading. If you are interested in accessing the data on support across households in New Zealand, please contact social.conditions@stats.govt.nz. For the NZGSS survey questionnaire, data dictionary, reports, and other information go to: www.stats.govt.nz/nzgss.
Additional information
The New Zealand General Social Survey (NZGSS) is a multidimensional, two-yearly survey that provides data on social and economic outcomes of New Zealanders aged 15 years and over. The NZGSS provides a base for measuring changes in outcomes over time and across population groups. Future tables will provide timely analysis of the impacts of events on social and economic outcomes.
